Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring SupervisorInpatient Case Manager Registered Nurse.
This position is fulltime day shift
Requirements:
Registered Nurse BSN Required
3 years case management
Prior supervisor experience
The Supervisor Inpatient Case Manager RN assumes responsibility accountability and leadership for the daily operations including coordination of work quality and service. First line supervisor in the Department of Inpatient Case Management for assigned hospital location. Facilitates the work of assigned team members. Provides a leadership role in ongoing case manager competency assessment needs identification and educational offerings. Provides educational services to the Medical Care Management staff . Participates in the work activities of assigned teams and provides case management services as needed. Functions in one of the following practice settings: Hospitals only
Certification in Case Management (CCM CMAC or ACMSW) required within one year of eligibility.
