The City of Tomball is accepting applications for the position of Community Center Attendant which ensures consistent staff presence during evening and weekend hours aiding in the planning coordination and supervision of indoor recreational activities. Emphasizes custodial tasks rental preparation and impeccable customer service for both internal events and external rentals. Focuses largely on setup supervision and customer interaction rather than extensive program planning.

Community Center Attendant functions include but are not limited to the following.
- Facility Supervision: Ensure staff coverage during evening and weekend hours. Monitor and oversee the conduct of renters and guests ensuring adherence to center policies. Assist the Community Center Manager and Assistant with coordinating indoor recreational activities.
- Setup and Preparation: Ensure all renters and guests have the necessary seating arrangements and equipment for their events. Prepare the center for daily activities to accommodate regular visitors.
- Custodial Duties: Perform routine custodial tasks to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the center. Handle the setup breakdown and rearrangements required for different functions. Ensure equipment is wellmaintained and ready for use.
- Rental Supervision: Provide excellent customer service to external renters which allows repeated bookings and referrals. Monitor the rental process from start to finish ensuring renters needs are addressed and the centers rules are followed. Handle clerical duties associated with rentals such as booking scheduling and feedback collection.
- Contribute to the team effort by performing other related duties as assigned.

SALARY:
- Hiring range $15.75 $16.54
- Salary range $15.75 $23.63
