Job Description
Performs support for ongoing studies under supervision of PI or technical staff.
Job Summary:
- Performs support for ongoing studies under supervision of PI or technical staff
Requirements and Licensure:
- High school (at least grade 11) or college student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work with laboratory animals including rodents.
- Actively participates as a team member by supporting decisions accepting change managing conflict and valuing the contributions of others.
- May fillin for other support staff when necessary.
- Provides support in the area indicated by the PI or other technical staff.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to work with laboratory animals.
- Strong English grammar punctuation and spelling skills
- Basic computer skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of organizational policies procedures and protocols
- Awareness of common safety hazards and universal precautions to establish a safe work environment
Work Environment:
- Comfortable welllit office environment.
- Moderate noise level.
Physical Requirements:
- Involvementin standing walking sitting bending reaching finger and hand dexterity.
- Capable of talking hearing and seeing.
- Lifts carries pushes and/or pulls up to 100 lbs. maximum.
