Short Haul Driver

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable safetyconscious Short Haul Driver to deliver our premium pastries to our Nashville storefronts. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving and appreciates a consistent earlymorning schedule. The position requires efficient time management and attention to detail. This role includes additional warehouse work.
Schedule: Friday Saturday Sunday
PartTime: 3:45 AM 9:00 AM Fridays & Sundays 4:30 AM to 11:00 AM Saturdays *additional hours available if needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver baked goods and products to Nashvillearea storefronts on schedule.
- Load and unload product safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of delivery vehicles.
- Troubleshoot minor vehicle or delivery issues in realtime.
- Communicate effectively with the warehouse and storefront teams.
- Putting up deliveries and general warehouse cleaning on Saturdays
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum one (1) year of driving experience.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Clean driving record and valid drivers license.
- Must pass a driver history check drug test and physical exam.
- Ability to operate a small box truck with a lift gate.
- Must be insurable as a company driver.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Prior delivery/driving experience preferred.
- Mechanically inclined candidates are a plus
Hourly Rate with Tip share: $20.00 $21.00 per hour (base wage of $15.00 tip share)
