Position: Maintenance Technician DIRECT HIREWage: $30/hr per hour; based on experienceShift: 2nd Shift; Monday Friday 3:00pm 11:00pm; overtime as scheduledGrinder Responsibilities:Observes mechanical devices equipment and machinery in operation and listens to their sounds to diagnose machine malfunction and determines the need for adjustment repair and replacementStudies blueprints sketches machine parts or specificationsDismantles machinery and/or equipment to gain access to and remove defective partsExamines form and texture of parts to detect imperfectionsInspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirementsAdjusts functional parts or devices and control instrumentsRepairs or replaces defective partsInstalls special functional and structural parts in devicesAssembles and test operates machinery and equipment to verify correction of malfunctionCoordinates with manager and assist with production operators timely preventative maintenance and predictive parts replacement and repairSets up and operates drill press grinder and other metalworking tools to make metal partsRepairs electrical equipment or replaces faulty wiring switches or relays as qualified to performCoordinates for outside services when neededInitiates purchase orders for parts repairs or replacement equipment or piecesGrinder Requirements:5 years of manufacturing maintenance experienceMaintenance experience in the printing industry is a MUSTElectrical maintenance a plus; but not requiredAbout us:Celerity Staffing is a 100% locally owned staffing agency with eight locations throughout Wisconsin.
