JOB PURPOSE:
Were seeking a highly skilled and passionate Customer and Shopper Analytics Manager to join our ice cream team. As a leading Ice Cream player we are constantly looking for ways to better understand our customers and improve their experience with our products. In this role you will play a crucial part in driving datadriven decision making and delivering valuable insights to various teams across the organization. If youre a data enthusiast with a strategic mindset and a drive for continuous improvement wed love to have you on our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You need to be commercially aware of the consumer market as wholethink outside the boxand ask questions of the data you collect to transform it into actionable insights for the business to grow. Your role is as much about being intuitive personable and commercially aware as it is about having the legitimate technicalknowhow. Every day you will analyse the data you collect to give actionable insights to the category and customer teams (as well as marketing and finance) which in turn allows them to deliver communication messages to their customers that accurately respond to the current customer needs and demands. Your insights should directly lead to unlocking opportunities quickly for business growth in the shortterm.
Be skilled at working withnumerousdata sources to draw insights and solutions to business issues
Ensure unique and compelling insights can be presented through the integration of the unique combination of data sources
Utilise the data and analytics strategy to develop a road map of available insights for growth increasing in sophistication as resources become available
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns trends and key insights that can inform business decisions.
Provide guidance and support to internal teams on data interpretation and application of insights to achieve business objectives.
Operate within the following framework of insight delivery.
Design and tailor approaches to specific insights by leveraging all data sets available e.g. business questions on sales growth hypotheses for product decline understanding profitability issues.
Develop easily digestible insights to drive ideas understanding and action.
Deliver a consultative approach to insights which is embedded in our business plans including promotional plans
Discover ultimately discovernew insights which drive business growth
Business partner with crossfunctional teams such as Marketing CS&P Finance suggesting new ways of delivery insight.
Be adept at storytelling to ensure that insights can be presented in an engaging and logical way to engender adoption within the business
Build and manage relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure key business questions and issues are clearly understood and used to direct insight mining
Working knowledge of insight tools and techniquesdatabasesand systems e.g. quantitative methods IRI Nielsen IQ Retailer POS.
Lead the development and management of dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and measure the effectiveness of initiatives with CD Operations Manager
Review andprovidefeedback on training material
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain data integrity and security
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelors or masters degree in data Analytics Statistics Mathematics Or A Related Field.
Minimum 3 Years of experience In Data Analysis Preferably in CPG Industry.
Strong understanding of data mining techniques and experience with data visualization tools.
Proficiency In Sql Python and/or R. Familiarity with data management and visualization software such as Power BI.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for crossfunctional stakeholders
Knowledge of market research including NielsenIQ IRI Retailer POS systems.
