Senior Account Executive JD GTS GE & LE Sales
About the role:
The Account Executive is a fieldbased direct sales role responsible for both client retention as well as growth through contract expansion and the introduction of new products and services. You will consult with Clevel executives to develop and implement an effective enterprisewide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by Gartners products and services.
What youll do:
Account management with an outcome of increased customer satisfaction and an increase in retention and account growth
Quota responsibility of $800000 of contract value within a territory of major client accounts
Mastery and consistent execution of Gartners sales methodology
Account planning and territory management
Managing forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
Maintaining competitive knowledge and focus
Indepth knowledge of Gartners products and services
What youll need:
812 years of experience with proven consultative sales preferably in high technology (services software or consultative environment) with evidence of prior success in Sales
Strong demonstration of intellect drive executive presence and sales acumen
Proven experience building excellent client relationships at Clevel within large enterprise organizations
Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process
Bachelors or masters degree desired

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 132000 USD 180000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO a 401k match up to $7200 per year the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount and more.
