Job Description
As a Quality Engineer in our Manufacturing facility youll help ensure our products not only meetbut exceedcustomer expectations. Youll be a key player in improving quality processes managing calibration programs and supporting companywide quality goals. Your work will help maintain topnotch standards across everything we do.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support and shape quality strategies to align with business goals.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Help manage our document control system for easy tracking and compliance.
- Lead the development and improvement of our Quality Management System (ISO/IATF 3 Pillar etc.).
- Visualize and report quality metrics and audit results to leadership.
- Promote a Kaizen culture (continuous improvement) across teams.
- Oversee and improve our calibration programmaking sure all tools and instruments are accurate and meet industry standards.
- Investigate any calibration or quality issues and implement solutions.
- Train staff on proper calibration and quality techniques.
- Participate in internal quality improvement projects.
- Maintain and update important quality control documents and reports.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelors Degree in a related field (Engineering or similar).
- At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing.
- Handson knowledge of calibration and metrology.
- Familiarity with tools like micrometers calipers CMMs microscopes etc.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Deep knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF16949 standards.
- Experience with quality tools like FMEA SPC and Six Sigma.
- Skilled in internal audits and using data to solve problems.
- Proficient with Excel and statistical software.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
- Experience working in GMPcompliant environments.
- Familiarity with advanced inspection tools like Keyence 3D microscopes Surfcom OInspect CMM etc.
