This Opportunity:

The Senior Therapist for Behavioral Health is primarily responsible for supervising planning coordinating providing leadership and directing the administrative and clinical activities for assign outpatient therapists. This position is responsible for the clinical oversight structure and supervision of programs which include but are not limited to individual and group psychotherapy services. They work collaboratively with the Practice Administrator to optimize overall clinic operations.

What Youll Do:

Provide effective oversight direction and clinical and administrative supervision to outpatient therapist team associate level licensed professionals.
Responsible for hiring discipline firing and performance appraisals where appropriate.
Responsible for implementing systems and monitoring those system to ensure clinical and administrative duties for assigned therapists are completed effectively accurately at a high quality and within agencyspecified timeliness. Duties include but are not limited to overseeing processes such as timesheets payables billing clinical supervision staff education Human Resources (HR) processes triage emergency services delivery and clinical documentation;
Reviews productivity targets with all clinicians and assists clinician to achieve productivity targets.
Coordinates with the Director of Psychotherapy to identify training continuing education opportunities implementation and use of evidencebased practices and quality assurance activities for the clinical team.
Coordinates with the Director of Psychotherapy to ensure clinical competency of therapists including documentation standards audits of charts and peer review process.
Conducts clinical team meetings with clinical staff to present new cases for assignment and treatment planning and ongoing cases for additional input.
Supports people (and clinicians) in crisis management facilitates safety planning while working closely with psychiatrists supervises client transitions to hospitals where needed.
Provide individual group and family therapy to individuals of all ages using personcentered philosophies and best practices in all service delivery.
Maintain necessary medical records in compliance with state federal and agency guidelines.
Assist individuals and families in meeting other psychosocial needs by referring them to appropriate outside agencies (such as doctors social services and Christian Ministries) and providing information needed within the guidelines of confidentiality standards.
Provide coverage or backup for Emergency Services during clinical hours and oncall coverage after hours and on weekends as needed.
Maintain positive working relationships within the communities served including with individuals families staff monitoring and licensing agencies organizations funding resources and other human service agencies.
Prepare and submit required or requested reports documents assessments evaluations and paperwork.
Maintain certification in all agency state and federal training requirements.
Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas.
Maintain licensure as required by licensing board and attend educational trainings/seminars to remain uptodate on current best practices.
Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Certifications Were Looking For:

Drivers License (Valid) USA Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) State Social Work Certification and Licensure Board Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) State Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Board

Experience Were Looking For:

Clinical Supervision Experience Counseling/Therapy Experience Experience treating substance use disorder or a dually diagnosed population Experience working with children and adults in a behavioral health capacity Knowledge of DSM 5/ICD10 nomenclature psychotherapy psychodynamics therapeutic techniques interviewing skills addictions family and group theories Strong clinical skills particularly in relation to completing comprehensive clinical assessments making treatment recommendations with clinical judgment Supervisory Experience

Schedule:

MondayFriday (8:00am5:00pm)
*This is a hybrid position offering the flexibility of working both onsite and remotely.*
