You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailCome join our Failure Analysis Lab as an Electronics Technician! We are an inquisitive group analyzing component failures to determine root cause and prevent future failures for our customers and manufacturing team. We troubleshoot component failures using a variety of methods ranging from functional testing in our electronics laboratory to destructive testing in our failure analysis laboratory. If you are a natural problem solver and have a solid electronics background we would love to have you help us find the root cause of every defect!
As anElectronics Technician a typical day might include the following:
Troubleshooting and characterizing electrical and mechanical components based on data sheets and drawing specifications.
Developing test methods and techniques for material evaluation under the guidance of an experienced technician or engineer. Training quality specialists as required.
Operating measurement equipment such as curve tracers oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
Preparing conducting and documenting reliability testing under the guidance of an experienced technician or engineer.
Using xray system scanning electron microscope XRF instrumentation and optical microscopes in support of component troubleshooting.
Assisting engineers.
This job might be for you if:
You have a twoyear associate degree in electronics technology or related field.
You have a working knowledge of analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits.
You have a working knowledge of mechanical drawings data sheets specifications and materials.
You are familiar with modern test equipment.
You have excellent problemsolving skills.
You have strong writing documentation and speaking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience in electronics materials quality manufacturing or failure analysis
Familiarity with programing languages (C C python etc.)
Experience with computer equipment and operating systems
Working knowledge of electronic failure analysis
Working knowledge of reliability testing methods
Working knowledge of sheet metal printed wiring boards adhesives and plastic components
ASQ Quality Technician certification

Pay Range Data:
Electronics Technician I $23.13 $34.76 per hour. Electronics Technician II $26.20 $39.28 per hour. Electronics Technician III $29.23 $45.67 per hour. We anticipate filling this position as Electonics Technician I however we are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience. Our salary ranges are determined by job responsibility and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and jobrelated factors such as candidate experience training knowledge and skills.
