Job Summary
The Hotel On North is a fun modern boutique hotel in the heart of Pittsfield. We are looking for a parttime guest service agent to join our awesome front desk team.
A Hotel Front Desk Clerk is the primary point of contact for guests upon arrivalresponsible for efficiently checking guests in and out managing reservations answering inquiries providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions and ensuring a positive guest experience through friendly and professional customer service.
- Greeting guests and processing checkins/checkouts
- Managing reservations including taking bookings cancellations and modifications
- Assigning rooms and issuing room keys
- Answering phone calls and addressing guest inquiries
- Providing information about hotel facilities services and local attractions
- Handling cash transactions and processing payments
- Maintaining accurate guest records and logs
- Resolving guest concerns and complaints in a timely manner
- Following hotel policies and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Basic computer literacy
