Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location:Hampton
Setting:Clinic Based
Hours:Flexible Ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week
**Parttime employees are required to work afternoon hours (3pm6pm) at least 1 to 2 days per week.
Compensation:$65000 to $95000

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of children to assess physical cognitive and emotional abilities and limitations to determine their therapy needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that outline goals interventions and timelines for the child.
  • Conduct mobility feeding and cognitive tests.
  • Collaborate with parents caregivers and other healthcare professionals to support the childs development.
  • Monitor and document progress adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Teach parents how to perform exercises with their children and assist the child in completing exercises at home.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in therapy from an accredited program required.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapistin Virginia.
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Therapy
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment and modalities.
  • Ability to adapt to the unique needs of each pediatric patient.
  • Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in administering various assessment tools treatment plans and equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
