FIRM: Large Food Manufacturer
- The G&A Financial Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy integrity and visibility of the General & Administrative (G&A) financials.
- This position supports financial planning reporting and analysis activitiesincluding monthend close account reconciliations and budget managementto provide insights and transparency across all G&A cost centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthend close responsibilities including journal entries account reconciliations and preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger for G&A cost centers and ensure timely visibility of financial performance.
- Support budgeting processes and provide variance analysis for internal stakeholders.
- Partner with department leaders to deliver monthly cost review presentations and ad hoc reporting to enhance financial decisionmaking.
- Assist in ongoing financial analysis projects and process improvements.
- Promote and maintain a safe secure and compliant work environment in accordance with company policies.
Skills and Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 23 years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems or ERP platforms is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to present financial data clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
