Job Description
The stunning Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame located in the vibrant Eddy Street Commons is looking to add a Building Maintenance Technician to its Engineering team. This 164room property was built in 2018 and we are looking for the right candidate to help us maintain its beauty.
The ideal candidate will have general knowledge and understanding of general building maintenance and electricala genuine passion to want to grow and develop their career in the engineering field the ability to work quickly and effectively both alone or as part of a team reliable and have good customer service skills. A formal HVAC related certification would be a bonus!
Pay is based on experience starting at $18/hour.

What will I be doing
As an Engineer you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including but not limited to guest rooms public space and heartofthehouse areas
- Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair nonfunctioning machinery and/or equipment
- Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including but not limited to carpentry plumbing electrical work painting HVAC work and masonry
- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
- Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
