What youll be doing
You will report to the Director Project Delivery and will be responsible for supporting the delivery of small to medium size projects/programs and work packages in support of Personal and Business Banking strategic priorities. You will be leveraging project management principles and standards to manage projects monitor milestones conduct status reviews provide business guidance identify any deviations to the project plan and recommend corrective action to mitigate potential issues. You will be collaborating with a group of business and technology stakeholders for the end to end delivery of projects including initiation requirement gathering design construction testing implementation and closure. You will also lead stakeholder engagement and people change management deliverables and participate/support in overall execution of projects.

How Youll Succeed
Project Management: Support the end to end delivery of projects processes reporting work packages campaigns etc. that support our strategy. Make recommendations throughout the project life cycle related to scope budget and and manage the People Change Management components of the project. Support in requirements gathering current state and future state process documentation test execution (Business/User Acceptance Testing) and post implementaton validation and monitoring. Incorporate Agile concepts and practices where ever applicable. Ensure compliance with policies standards guidelines and controls.
Relationship Management Develop and manage internal relationships with CIBCs lines of business and other infrastructure groups as necessary to deliver strategically important projects within the approved budgets and timelines. Actively seek and evaluate opportunities to improve existing processes and work with key stakeholders to implement changes where appropriate.
Leadership Perform a subject matter leadership role to Project Delivery on project related activities. Contribute to development of the intellectual capital as well as a general base of insight and superior knowledge of the team.
