Position Summary
The Digital Content Specialist at Professional Bull Riders (PBR) plays a key role in delivering engaging accurate and brandconsistent content across PBRs digital platforms. This role supports the daily upkeep of websites and apps contributes to editorial content and ensures digital assets align with broader marketing PR and sponsorship initiatives. The Specialist will also support SEO efforts and collaborate with internal teams to enhance the fan experience.
Reporting to the Digital Product Manager this position works closely with the social PR video and marketing teams to bring PBRs digital presence to life.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Content & Web Management
Support daily content updates across PBRs websites and app platforms.
Maintain and update event and tunein schedules ensuring accuracy and timely promotion.
Work with the Video Content Manager to keep VOD sections of the app engaging and current.
Ensure consistency in branding layout and messaging across digital touchpoints.
Help manage chatbot content and review user interaction trends.
Implement foundational SEO practices content tagging and metadata organization.
Monitor site performance and user engagement using analytics tools and make content recommendations based on findings.
Editorial Contributions
Write format and publish website and app content including event previews press releases and feature pieces.
Coordinate with internal teams and freelancers to source and edit content.
Select and optimize multimedia (images video) for digital publishing.
Assist with content creation for newsletters and marketing emails.
Live Event & Operational Support
Assist with realtime content updates during live events and results reporting.
Provide weekend/oncall support for digital updates and issue resolution.
Support eventrelated updates in collaboration with the Digital Coordinator.
Sponsorship & Marketing Support
Assist in integrating sponsored assets partner activations and promotional content across digital properties.
Required Qualifications
2 years of experience in content creation web publishing or digital communications.
Experience with a CMS (Umbraco preferred) and basic understanding of HTML.
Strong writing and editing skills; knowledge of AP style preferred.
Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and web analytics tools (Google Analytics).
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends especially during events.
Comfortable using mobile devices to capture and publish basic photo/video content.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the sports entertainment or live events industry.
Awareness of ADA and accessibility standards in digital publishing.
Working Conditions
Hybrid schedule (4 days inoffice).
Evening/weekend work during event coverage.
Occasional travel as needed.
