The Raytheon team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support our radar programs and the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) Software (SW) Department in Woburn Massachusetts.
What You Will Do:
The MDS SW mission is to provide world class Radar and Command and Control (C2) Software for our customers wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems. We align to the core Agile and DevSecOps principles of collaborative operation across the entire value stream delivering highfrequency highquality deployments to our customers.
Deliverables include but not limited to:
- Design develop and test software based on software trouble reports in an agile collaborative environment delivering build to site twice a year.
- Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with systems and SI&T engineers to analyze implement and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- A minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Experience developing software with agile methodology in a teambased environment.
- Experience in software development test and/or integration using C C or Ada.
- Exposure to radar software development and/or radar concepts.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Willingness to travel to customer site (<10%) for software build install and test
- Proven experience with current Missile defense programs with specific experience in large complex systems
- Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment with timecritical requirements
- Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems
- Ability to prioritize and make datadriven decisions

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
