The Division of Services for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing (DSDHH) assures equal access to North Carolina citizens who are Deaf Hard of Hearing and DeafBlind.
The Administrative Associate II position is with the Division of Services for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing and is located in the Regional Center. This position is responsible for providing a comfortable office environment for individuals who are deaf hard of hearing or deafblind.

About the NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS):
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest most complex agencies in the state and has approximately 17000 employees. Qualified applicants must possess and application must clearly reflect work experience that demonstrates the following:
Computer skills and knowledge of programs to effectively use Microsoft Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint and Publisher
Answering multiline telephones
Scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings; taking and generating meeting minutes
Maintaining files and database records and attention to details
Creating documents including Calendars of Events and fliers drafting correspondence/ memorandums and generating reports
Exceptional Customer Service
Ability to use TTY and video phone
Knowledge of the programs of the Division of Services for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing.
Basic knowledge of working with consumers with various degree of hearing loss.
Basic sign language skills is a preference and must be willing to learn if there is no prior possession of these skills
Maintaining office equipment supplies and inventories
