Inviting applications for the role of RTR Financial Accounting Assistant Manager German Remote Poland
In this role you will manage and oversee financial accounting processes ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts to the general ledger.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial reporting and adherence to accounting policies.
Conduct periodic audits of financial records and reconcile discrepancies.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to financial transactions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial accounting.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Fluency in German and a strong command of English
Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field
Relevant years of experience in RTR
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
Proven experience in financial accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification
Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Effective communication skills both written and verbal
Experience working in the retail industry / with retail clients
Knowledge of additional languages
