The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated Licensed Psychologist Manager to join our Psychology Department at State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Phoenix. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Licensed Psychologist Manager for the Department of Corrections you will be responsible for the planning organizing and directing of the psychological services program for the institution. In this position you will coordinate the psychological services program with other disciplines and develop and write new policies and procedures for existing programs. You will also chair the population Psychiatric Review Team. You can expect to participate as a standing member of the Clinical Review Team for suicides and attempted suicides. Additionally you will consult with psychiatry and medical staff and perform psychological testing and evaluation of inmates.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness mental retardation or behavioral dysfunction.
Special Requirements:
- You must have possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with outofstate licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown PA is required.
- PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
