Fixedterm for 36 months
YOUR TASKS:
- Conduct literature research on 3D mapping and localization for mobile autonomous robots
- Select relevant methods for investigation based on a wellfounded rationale
- Implement selected methods for the provided hardware adapt them or further develop them
- Design and conduct experiments to compare different approaches
- Evaluate the selected methods
- Document your results in detail
YOUR PROFILE:
- Enrolled in a degree program in Mathematics Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related field
- Strong programming skills in C
- Ideally knowledge in laser measurement technology mathematical optimization or cartography
- (Very) good English skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Independent and structured working style
