A Day in the Life:
Lead a highperformance finance team through strategic hiring mentoring and continuous developmentensuring alignment with business goals seamless execution of workflows and a culture of accountability and excellence.
Own and optimize the full financial planning cycledesign build and manage complex budget and forecast models using advanced Excel functions Power BI and financial systems (e.g. Hyperion SAP) to support executive decisionmaking and companywide financial alignment.
Partner crossfunctionally to shape Nissan Canadas financial future collaborating with Marketing Sales Captive Finance Division and Parts to develop holistic forecasts validate business cases (including ROI modeling) and monitor budget performance with variance and trend analyses.
Responsible for overseeing the companys fixed cost management from developing budget to identify areas for optimization and implement strategies for cost reduction to track and report to senior management ensuring alignment financial objectives are met.
Elevate finances strategic impact by driving process improvements and automation in budgeting forecasting and reporting through collaboration with NNA/NML counterparts and functional partners (Accounting HR IS etc.) ensuring data integrity and operational excellence.
Who Were Looking for:
University degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field with at least 10 years of experience in corporate finance budgeting and business planning. CPA designation is an asset.
Expertise in financial modeling forecasting and variance analysis with strong proficiency in Excel SAP (or equivalent ERP systems) and business intelligence tools.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate complex financial data to both financial and nonfinancial stakeholders.
Proven leadership skills including team management performance development and the ability to collaborate crossfunctionally across business units and global partners.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a track record of driving process improvements and influencing highlevel decisionmaking.
