Job Description
Duration: Fulltime position (40 hours per week)
Location: Hybrid remote in Maribor minimum 2 days per week in the office
Experience Level: Minimum 3 years in a similar role
About the role
As our new Software Testing Specialist you will participate in the development process with a focus on testing and understanding requirements and business value. You actively participate in the planning of the software implementation tasks and tests in the sprint together with your crossfunctional team. You will work closely with colleagues in across Europe collaborating with developers and product owners to add velocity to our Integration and Platform and Infrastructure teams and make sure we can deliver a stable product.
Your focus will be on conducting systematic tests following best practices creating reproducible bug reports. You will independently develop implement and execute API tests for both internal and external APIs. You are responsible for consistency and availability of test data together with the testing team and that test data are updated according to GDPR and security policies. Last but not least you create and maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans test cases and test reports.
Your background
- 3 years of working experience as a software tester ideally in a software product company
- Testing skills
- Experience in API testing/integration testing or backend testing
- Good working experience using Postman or similar tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- English written and spoken on a professional level
- A university degree preferably within IT or Engineering
- Nice to have:
