Bachelors degree or diploma in Hotel Management Catering Technology or Food & Beverage Services from a recognized institution.
Desirable:
Certification in Food Safety & Hygiene (FSSAI License Holder or equivalent)
Basic knowledge of dietary requirements especially hospital nutrition standards
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing food services/canteen operations preferably in a hospital healthcare or institutional setup
Proven experience in team leadership vendor management and quality assurance in food services
Strong understanding of hospital dietary protocols (including therapeutic diets patientspecific requirements and allergen management)
Expertise in food safety standards and hygiene protocols (HACCP ISO 22000)
Operational knowledge of kitchen equipment and canteen logistics
Budgeting and cost control for food production and supply
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with dietitians vendors and facility staff
Proficiency in MS Office and inventory software tools
Endtoend management of hospital canteen services including staff supervision menu planning and quality control
Ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and external food safety regulations
Coordinating with dieticians to deliver patient meals as per prescribed nutritional needs
Monitoring vendor supply chains and maintaining hygiene standards in procurement and storage
Regular audits and documentation of operations hygiene and feedback
