Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct exceptional guided game drives and bush walks offering guests an immersive and educational experience
Perform tracking independently as the lodge does not utilise trackers
Lead walking safaris as a qualified Lead Trails Guide
Ensure guest safety and satisfaction at all times
Share in conservation values and respect for the natural environment
Maintain and care for guiding equipment and game drive vehicles
Foster strong guest relationships and represent the lodge with professionalism
Work harmoniously with the team and contribute positively to the staff community
Minimum Requirements:
FGASA Field Guide Qualification (minimum NQF Level 2)
Valid Lead Trails Guide qualification
Valid ARH and First Aid Level 2
DEAT/THETA registered and up to date
Valid driver s licence and PDP
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within a highend lodge environment
Strong tracking skills and ability to guide independently without a tracker
Professional mature and dependable approach to the role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
