Job Description
For our client we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer
Important:
- It is obligatory to work from the end client office 23 times per week (Wroc aw or Krak w)
- Start date: May/June
- Project duration: 12 months
Team:
- Selected specialists will be joining the Global Markets Financing stream within the Investment Banking division in Poland. This team focuses on enhancing modernizing and transforming platforms used by both internal and external users.
- Leverage DevOps practices focusing on automation reusability and testing
- Design and implement secure observable systems
- Take part in or lead architecture and design reviews with peers and stakeholders
- Review code from other developers providing feedback to uphold best practices (e.g. coding standards accuracy testability efficiency)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across products or platforms by identifying root causes and assessing their impact on infrastructure and service quality
- Clarify ambiguous requirements to prevent misinterpretations and reduce risks
Required Expertise:
- Tech Lead experience working in cloud environments (Azure certification is a plus)
- Strong programming skills in at least one language (Java C# Go Python)
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (especially Azure Kubernetes Service)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab Azure DevOps Jenkins Maven Helm)
- Experience with Service Mesh frameworks like Istio
- Handson with InfrastructureasCode tools (e.g. ARM Terraform Ansible Bicep Puppet)
- Scripting capabilities (e.g. Bash PowerShell Azure CLI)
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum XP Kanban)
- Understanding of design patterns and distributed system architecture
Desirable Skills:
- Basic understanding of security concepts (OpenID Connect OAUTH2 JWT TLS)
- Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL Azure Cosmos DB)
- Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g. Azure Monitor Prometheus Grafana)
- Experience managing Unix/Linux servers
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
