Job Description
Position Overview
BayCare Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified Neurohospitalist to join an expanding program at Morton Plant Hospital a 600bed facility located in Clearwater Florida.
- Morton Plant Hospital is recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by DNV GL Healthcare as has achieved quality awards by the American Stroke Association.
- Morton Plant Hospital averages 900 stroke alerts annually and is currently the only Comprehensive Stroke Center servicing midNorth Pinellas County (roughly 65% of our stroke population arrives via EMS).
- Assistance from TeleSpecialists (teleneurology) with stroke alerts.
What you can expect:
- Coverage at one hospital.
- Schedule includes approximately 15 24hours shifts a month.
- Collaboration with and outpatient coverage provided by BayCare Medical Groups Neurology team as well as Neurology Physicians within the community.
- Applicants should be comfortable with seeing a wide range of neurology patients and interpreting EEGs.

Qualifications
What you will need:
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- MD or DO
- Active/unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain one)
