We are currently seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Cashier to join our team in New Orleans LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately while providing excellent service. This position is wellsuited for someone who is punctual trustworthy and enjoys working in a fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities
Handle cash credit and check transactions with customers
Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
Collect payments and issue receipts or change
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
Resolve customer issues and answer questions in a professional manner
Follow all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling
Assist with stocking shelves and general store maintenance as needed
Qualifications :
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
Basic math and computer skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Dependable punctual and teamoriented
