Job Description
We are looking for you an Application Engineer (m/f/diverse) to support the Precision Sealing Solutions (PSS) in our Business Area Original Equipment Solutions (OESL) at the location Northeim.
Your tasks will focus on the following activities:
- Execution and monitoring of projectspecific development activities within product application engineering
- Development of products according to customer specifications
- Execution of the technical projectspecific customer service
- Acquisition of new projects in cooperation with the sales department
- Completion of all deliverables for Application Engineering specified within the project management system (Quality Gate System)
- Documentation of all project activities of Application Engineering in the project management system PLANISWARE
- Elaborating/evaluating feasibility checks for RFQ utilizing multidisciplinary teams
- Support for new and change management projects in the PLC from Gate 1090
- Analysing and improving existing products
- Support of sales and project management in customer service
Qualifications :
- Academic degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Several years experience in the automotive industry including customer interaction
- Experience in direct customer contact
- Knowledge about OESL related products in design production testing
- Experience in research and development as product development engineer design engineer or project manager
- Ability to work independently and selfmotivated
- Experiences in international and intercultural environment
- Very good English language skills (written and spoken)
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken)
- Strong team player and good communicator at various levels
- Willingness to travel
