POSITION:SCHOOL NURSE
Effective 202526School Year
LOCATION: KETTERING CITY SCHOOLS
GENERAL INFORMATION: This person will conduct and coordinate school health services and programs for the Kettering City School District. MUST BE A REGISTERED NURSE WITH SCHOOL NURSE LICENSURE OR PURSUING CERTIFICATION.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Partial List
1. Conducts health screening and tests.
2. Refers students for medical and dental care.
3. Maintains uptodate cumulative health records.
4. Provides care for ill and injured students.
5. Implements policy on exclusions.
6. Prepares reports for Superintendent and State Board of Health.
QUALIFICATIONS Partial List
1. Bachelor s degree.
2. Valid Ohio Professional Nurses License.
3. Valid Ohio Drivers License.
4. Must pass criminal background checks and preemployment drug screening.
5. Collaboration and problemsolving skills.
SALARY: According to the approved salary schedule.
