Summary: Rupert A. Nock Middle School is a grade 68 middle school with over 550 students. We are looking for a dynamic positive person who enjoys working with middle school students who is comfortable in a fastpaced school environment and who is interested in collaborating with a team of teachers. The Spanish teacher will provide instruction to middle school students on an interdisciplinary team (ELA math science social studies Spanish) and must be comfortable differentiating curriculum teaching effective work habits and creating studentcentered curricula. In addition the teacher will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teaching team to support students in an inclusion model. We are looking for an energetic highly qualified MA certified Spanish teacher (512) who has native or nearnative fluency to join our 612 world language department. Nearnative speakers should have experience studying working and/or teaching abroad. Prospective candidates must have experience designing and implementing effective studentcentered middle school world language curriculum units. Successful applicants will be selfstarters able to design and implement proficiencybased instructional units and Integrated Performance Assessments (IPAs) informed by the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines and NCSSFLACTFL CanDo Statements. As a 1:1 Chromebook school candidates must have experience using a variety of technologies (including Google Classroom).
