Job Description

Kindergarten Screening Days August 2025

Description: The Screening Team will consist of educators who are proficient in administering screening assessments for incoming Kindergarten students. Each school will have one educator perform screenings for incoming Kindergarten students which will include: DIBELs Early Screening Inventory (Child Find) and Acadience Math assessments. The screener will be responsible for preparing testing materials running screenings and recording student data to be shared with teachers to help inform instruction and instructional groupings in a variety of formats and modalities.

Working Time: 7:30am 4:00pm on Augustwith additional 1.5 hours of training and prep time. Training to take place on Zoom on Tuesday August 12 at 9:00am. The successful candidate at each location will be able to work full days on all 3 days and attend the mandatory training.

Requirements:

  • Current assignment as a Classroom Teacher ESL Teacher Special Education Teacher or Interventionist in grades K2
  • Experience and Proficiency in administering Elementary Literacy and Math Screening Assessments

Remuneration: $40/hour for 27 hours (Max stipend of $1080)

Number of Positions: 6 positions total. One appointment will be made at each of the following schools: Keverian Lafayette Madeline English Parlin Webster Whittier.
