Job Description
The Facilities Technician will be performing tear down and clean up of previous Laboratory Site located at the University Park IL site location. The primary focus of this position will be the support of sample disposal office furniture disposal and documentation of the relocated/disposed materials. This position is a temporary position to support the shut down of the previous laboratory site. This position will be needed May July.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tear down and disposal of all samples office furniture and additional materails at previous laboratory site
- Clean up of assigned area at University Park location
- Documentation of all items either relocated to new facility at Tinley Park or disposal.
Qualifications :
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Ability and/or Skills:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to be on your feet for 8 hour shift
- Communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement including the ability to read write and speak in English.
Additional Information :
Fulltime position Monday Friday 1st shift hours with overtime as needed.
Compensation range: $18.00/hr
Position will be needed for May July in support of the decommison and shutdown of the University Park location.
