Job Description
Join Our Team as a Used Car Technician!
Are you an experienced automotive technician looking to join a fastpaced supportive team Capital Subaru of Greenville is seeking a skilled Used Car Technician to join our growing service department. If you take pride in quality work have strong mechanical skills and enjoy working in a teamoriented environment this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on repair orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct multipoint inspections on preowned vehicles.
- Recondition vehicles based on Used Car Managers authorization.
- Testdrive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are informed of necessary repairs.
- Provide accurate estimates on additional work and repair timelines.
- Inspect and maintain fluid levels replacing or replenishing as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts.
- Maintain accountability to dealership owned tools and manuals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of handson automotive experience is required.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills; experience with electronic diagnostic equipment preferred.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Positive teamfirst attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with high attention to detail.
- Willing to submit to a preemployment background check and drug screen.
