A Brief Overview
Performs assigned maintenance and housekeeping functions for the facilities.
What you will do
- Maintain floor care which may include stripping wax or refinishing hard surfaces and shampooing carpet floors.
- Move furniture and/or equipment when requested.
- Collects trash and disposal.
- Replenish supplies.
- Clean and change filters on heating and cooling units.
- Perform routine and/or unscheduled maintenance and repair of facility plumbing painting or other maintenance tasks as directed.
- Perform routine maintenance on grounds as necessary and directed to include replacement of light bulbs.
Essential Qualifications
The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others hear understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. These requirements and those listed above are representative of the knowledge skills and abilities required to perform the essential job functions. Preferred Education License/Certification or Work Experience:
- High School or GED Equivalent
- Floor care experience
