The Space and Intelligence Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force Space Force Combatant Commands the Intelligence Community and NASA. Our work includes systems engineering and integration test planning and execution cost estimating and analysis developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging high priority National Defense needs and assessing and developing cuttingedge technologies and capabilities to meet those needs.
The Space Systems Group part of SPAs Space and Intelligence Division providestimely and objective assessments and recommendations integrating technical operational programmatic policy and business analysis. We focus on our key clients in the Space community including the US Space Forces Space Systems Command (USSF/SSC) one of the three designated Field Commands under USSF. We work tirelessly to provide integrated solutions based on information and communications throughout the chain of provide clear and consistent analysis and recommendations which are aligned to strategic and leadership goals while balancing the ability to execute on time and on budget within the technical communities.
SPA has an immediate need for a Communications Analyst to support a U.S. Space Force customer.
Responsibilities
The duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Write and develop speeches documents and articles for the U.S. Space Force.
- Assess develop evaluate consolidate track status of and report metrics for responses that answer technical and programmatic inquiries working closely with the appropriate Delta/Division representatives.
- Research draft and edit articles speeches and testimony on the Directorate organization missions operations and initiatives.
- Review coordinate and process program information suitable for public release to industry media trade publications international partners and other program stakeholders.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility
- Masters degree or higher in English Journalism and/or Communications
- 12 years of experience related to professional writing editing or technical writing
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing clearly concisely and with technical accuracy
- Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office applications and software
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in supporting Federal Government acquisitions and/or contracts

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. California Pay Transparency Range: 120k 180k.
