You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis is a fantastic opportunity to join FNZs growing team as a Microsoft Fabric Administrator. In this key role youll be responsible for managing and maintaining the Microsoft Fabric environment to ensure optimal performance security and compliance. Youll collaborate closely with teams across the organization to support a wide range of initiatives including data integration data engineering data warehousing data science realtime analytics and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Microsoft Fabric Environment: Oversee the administration of the Microsoft Fabric platform including configuration monitoring and maintenance of Fabric services.
Data Integration and Engineering: Ensure seamless data integration and engineering processes within the Fabric environment leveraging tools such as Data Factory and Synapse.
Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures to protect data within the Fabric environment ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Fabric services to ensure efficient data processing and analytics.
Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists analysts and other stakeholders to support their data needs and ensure the successful implementation of data projects.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to the Fabric environment ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
Documentation and Best Practices: Develop and maintain documentation for the Fabric environment including best practices standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Experience Required:
Education: Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in administering Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms with a strong understanding of data integration data engineering and data warehousing.
RealTime Data Integration: Experience with and knowledge of realtime data integration patterns like CDC Event Streaming Ordered Event Processing etc.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric Data Factory Synapse Power BI and other related tools. Strong knowledge of SQL Python and other relevant programming languages.
Security and Compliance: Experience with implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements.
ProblemSolving Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure: Familiarity with Azure services and infrastructure including Azure Data Lake Azure Machine Learning and Azure Data Explorer.
Project Management: Experience in managing data projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Continuous Learning: A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in data technologies and best practices.
RealTime ODS Administration: Prior experience administering realtime or nearrealtime Operational Data Stores (ODSs).
Distributed Streaming Engines: Experience with or knowledge of distributed streaming engines such as Apache Spark Apache Flink or Azure equivalents.
KafkaFabric Integration: Demonstrated experience integrating Apache Kafka with Microsoft Fabric for realtime data ingestion and processing.
