Job Description
Bemana is searching for a skilled Diesel Mechanic in Lake Panasoffkee FL to join the maintenance team of a nationwide lumber manufacturer. In this role you will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of a fleet of diesel trucks and trailers including Kenworth Freightliner Volvo Mack trucks and Hyundai and Taylor lift trucks. Their Diesel Mechanics play a vital role in keeping operations running safely and efficiently.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Hourly rates are $2632/hour depending on experience. If your target pay is higher we still encourage you to applywe could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct regular maintenance on diesel engines trucks trailers and lift trucks.
- Inspect and test equipment to identify issues and verify that repairs have been properly completed.
- Follow all company safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Complete work orders in a timely manner and document maintenance activities thoroughly.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and departments to coordinate maintenance needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience working on tractors trailers or forklifts.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret technical information.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of all work performed.
- 1 year of diesel engine repair experience.
- 1 year of general mechanical experience.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems in a logistics or transportation setting.
