Parttime 16 hours per week/ Min 3 days a week or Monday Thursday
As aPhysical Therapist (PT)with Sentara you evaluate and treat patients with a variety of mobility impairments. You help them every day with regaining a piece of their independence and seeing their success. This positions primary duties include transferring ambulating assisting with exercises gait training stair climbing and balance. You will find that teamwork is exceptional with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients. - Assess plan organize and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility relieve pain and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
- Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
- Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
- Masters or Doctorate Level Degree preferred. 1 year experience required for Resource Pool applicants.
