Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley is looking for additional gastroenterologist locums to help with gaps in coverage

MondayFriday Clinic & procedure coverage 8a4:30p
2025 days per month are needed in total for all locums.
Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Duties: EGD EVS General GI cases.
Required Procedures: General GI cases
EMR: EPIC
1215 procedures per day.
Procedure details: Max sedation propofol supervised by anesthesiologist 3 procedure rooms 2 in outpatient center and 1 inpatient Procedure blocks 30 min 1215 min procedure durations (Can double book/ run two rooms) Double colon EGD procedures 12 per day avgs out with 30 min slots & Provider does d/c.
810 clinic patients (30 min slots)
IBD Admoninal pain EOE minimal hepatitis IBD Fuijinon scopes.
Bowel prep at provider preference miralax widely used others available
EPIC and Provation EMRs Smartsets on EPIC for ordering.
40 procedures on their wait list.
4050 pts clinic per week MTh
Support Staff: MA RN Echo Tech Lab Tech Nuclear Tech Xray Tech
There will be an APP on site 2 days per week which the physician could have access to dependent on the shifts the APP and physician are scheduled.
Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage.
Credentialing Information:
Timeframe: 60 days standard
Emergency Temp privs Yes with clean file only.
Credentialing with other facilities Yes Valley Medical Center West Valley.
Billing enrollment Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less No
