This is a seasonal job that is currently budgeted for 17 pay periods (34 weeks) per fiscal year. These seasonal positions are critical to ensuring that maintenance areas have the manpower required to maintain the facilities in their region during the busiest months of the year. Access area maintenance is critical to ensure that accesses and ramps are safe for public use. Additionally this position will allow for crews of two ensuring that no one works alone and that everyone is able to safely complete the tasks assigned to them such as mowing access areas and dam breasts. Work includes but is not limited to installing docks installing signage weed eating litter pickup and making minor maintenance repairs on dams and spillways.
