Job Description
Responsible for providing support for applications that are clinically focused as well as serving as the liaison between IS the clinical departments and the physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installing clinical application upgrades and enhancements through collaborations with internal departments and external vendors developing conversion plans for system changes including communication and maintenance testing.
- Provide consultation on process analysis and design.
- Assist with user training.
- Create documentation for training maintenance and support including problem resolution and escalation decision trees.
- Assist with development of plans and materials for employee education including the evaluation of training effectiveness.
- Collaborate with IS staff and users to develop test plans including integration and user acceptance testing.
Required Experience:
- Registered Nurse in the State of IL
- Experience within Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to support Cerner EMR
- Ability and willingness to learn new tools and Healthcare Information Systems (HIS)
