PART TIME ALEXANDRIA
The Unleashed Pet LLC is seeking dynamic individuals to join our pet care team! In this role you will have handson experience providing quality care to our clients pets making sure they get exercise nourishment and affection while their owners are away. This is an excellent fit for anyone who loves working with animals and helping to ensure that they are happy safe and well taken care of.
Our company is a local womanowned service that has provided inhome pet sitting and dog walking to our community for the past 11 years. Our tightknit staff services Alexandria and immediate surrounding areas and we provide quality care to all types of domestic companions including dogs cats exotics and pocket pets.
Our team members are employees not independent contractors and we provide them with ongoing support. This includes opportunities for training and education (such as training in canine and feline behavior Pet First Aid and Pet CPR) provision of company smart phones and companybranded clothing and regular staff meetings intended to build team relations. We also offer competitive employee benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
Our ideal candidates will have the following qualities:
- Compassion for animals
- Professional or Personal experience with pet handling and care
- Comfort in a fastpaced environment
- Appreciation for working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Competenceinreading and writingEnglish
- Desire for longterm employment of one year or more
- Own a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license
