Our affiliate Unified Womens Healthcare of the Carolinas is looking for a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their prestigious Womens Health Care Center in Summerville SC. Position Highlights:
Join an established and successful practice that has served women in Summerville and the greater Charleston Metro Area for almost 30 years.
Full time position for someone who wants to work 40 hours per week seeing obstetrics and gynecology patients.
This is a clinic only position.
2 office locations where womens health nurse practitioner or physician assistant will work with patients along with the physicians and will assist with the management of the clinic when the physicians are out for deliveries surgeries or vacation.
Duties include seeing patients completing charting calling back patients with labs answering patient phone calls patient education sending prescriptions electronically or by phone and administering medications.
Will assist physicians with scheduling patient appointments and surgical procedures at Summerville Medical Center
Clinic volume will be about 25 patients per day
Expected to perform office procedures such IUD insertion Nexplanon insertions and endometrial biopsies.

Requirements:
National Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification or ability to obtain
Unrestricted active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
CPR BLS and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
Ability to communicate with patients team members and management staff
Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
One year of fulltime experience as a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred
