PROVAIL has an exciting opportunity for a detailoriented and datadriven Advancement Operations Specialist to join our Mission Advancement team at PROVAIL! In this key operations role youll help grow private philanthropy and donor engagement by managing fundraising systems optimizing CRM workflows and supporting events and stewardship efforts. What youll do:
Data & Analytics
- Serve as Developments database administrator overseeing daytoday operations of fundraising software and CRM technology. Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack is required. Experience with other SAAS tools such as Classy Greater Giving Raisers Edgeetc. are preferred.
- Complete daily database entry maintaining data accuracy and completeness. Regularly update and cleanse donor records.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to identify and implement strategies to optimize the use of data for donor management prospect identification goal tracking analytics and reporting.
- Generate custom reports and analyze data to provide insights on fundraising performance donor trends and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to staff members on the effective use of Salesforce ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to utilize the system efficiently. Maintain policies and procedures guide for development database operations.
Gift Processing & Stewardship
- Complete daily gift processing. Manage reconciliation process between accounting and development.
- Generate mail and track invoices and donor acknowledgment letters. Create payment schedules and send pledge reminders
- Create segmented constituent lists for print and electronic outreach including solicitations and event invitations.
- Manage pledge tracking tribute giving and donoradvised fund (DAF) processing to ensure accurate and timely gift recording and stewardship.
- Leverage acknowledgment workflows as opportunities to strengthen relationships and promote inclusive donor engagement practices.
Event & Volunteer Coordination
- Lead the production of PROVAILs fundraising and community engagement events. Coordinate event logistics and planning including timelines catering volunteers promotional materials etc.
- With Program Managers identify meaningful volunteer opportunities for community members to give their time to advance PROVAILs mission.
- With the VP Mission Advancement identify opportunities to continue engaging volunteers using the experience as a point of entry for those new to PROVAIL and a way to deepen relationships with those who are active in the PROVAIL community. Coordinate data integration for volunteer management and provide support for engagement pathway development.

What youll bring:
- Minimum of 1 3 years experience using Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack or similar CRM. Experience in a fundraising environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with office technology and information systems including Google Workspace and Monday.
- Demonstrated experience planning large events.
- An understanding of donor cultivation and solicitation is a plus.
- Lived or professional experience working with marginalized communities is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
