Contract Dates: October 20 December 13 2025
Salary (DOE): Based upon the 202526 negotiated contract
Position Summary:
The Middle School Assistant Girls Basketball Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with organizing various aspects of the Girls Basketball Program.
Essential Functions:
Assist the head coach with overall team management including but not limited to recruitment of student athletes coordination of practices monitoringacademic progress andpreparing the team for competition.
Use a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet the needs and improve the abilities of student athletes in girls basketball.
Assess players skills and assign team positions.
Determine game strategy based on the teams capabilities.
- Otherduties as assigned by the head coach.
Qualifications:
Experience as a coach is preferred. Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills. Must possess some knowledge of the rules regulations strategies and techniques of the sport. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators parents and students.
