L. T. Westlake is an Early Learning to Grade 5 Fine Arts Elementary School in Taber AB. Westlake prides itself on having small class sizes and offering its students a variety of learning opportunities to ensure they can explore their interests.
0.61 FTE Temporary Teacher
Assignment includes Grade 4/5 Teacher (various subjects may include science social studies math art PEW music language arts)
L.T. Westlake Fine Arts Elementary School is looking for a dynamic individual who is focused on building strong relationships to join our team to teach Grade 5 Math Grade Science Social Art PE and Wellness. This position may include other subjects as well as literacy and numeracy intervention.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be willing to collaborate with other staff members
- Focused on having an inclusive classroom
- Strong classroom management skill
- Be an excellent planner with a solid understanding of curriculum and assessment strategies
- Create creative and engaging lessons
- Have a literacy or numeracy background
- Having a fine arts strength/background would be ideal but is not required
