Save Our Service is a privately owned and family run organisation with the aim to Support chefs/cooks obtain suitable roles in an early childhood setting.
About the Role:
Join Our Team as a Childcare Cook! Permanent Full Time Position located in Hendra .
Monday to Friday
In this role you will be responsible for preparing delicious and healthy meals for children in our care based on a carefully crafted rotational menu. Your culinary skills will help provide balanced nutrition contributing to the wellbeing and development of our little ones.
What we are looking for:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality and/or Food Safety supervisor level.
- Food Safety Supervisor (Level 1 & 2)
- Demonstrate practical knowledge in delivering a nutritional and aesthetic seasonal menu/meal in an Early Childhood setting.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of allergens and the Food safety guidelines.
- Ability to create and maintain a friendly secure and stimulation learning environment while fostering a positive work relationship with your team families and children.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Holds a valid
- First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check
