Step Down RN

Position: Step Down Registered Nurse

Confident Staff Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Step Down Registered Nurse to join our team in Lawton OK. As a Step Down RN you will be responsible for providing highquality nursing care to patients who are transitioning from the intensive care unit to a general care unit.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patients vital signs and medical status and report any changes to the healthcare team

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Educate patients and their families on postICU care and medication management

Monitor and maintain medical equipment and supplies

Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during their recovery process

Document patient care and progress accurately and timely

Adhere to all hospital policies procedures and safety protocols

Requirements:

Active RN license in the state of Oklahoma

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Step Down RN

BLS and ACLS certification

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fastpaced and highstress environment

Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
