Job Description
Coaching Position: Head Girls Basketball
Season Dates: 11/10/25 thru 3/14/26
Essential Functions
Maintain and oversee the welfare of students at all times; determine and maintain students level of competition; instruct students in the fundamental skills strategy and physical training in order to realize individual and/or team success.
Promote all activities by the District; develop and maintain rapport with coaches and advisors; exhibit enthusiasm and industry in coaching; maintain confidentiality with athletes.
Communicate and interact with athletes coaches and parents in an appropriate and professional manner.
Develop well organized practice plans and schedules; assume supervisory control over athletes and teams assigned as necessary; regularly attend all contests and practice sessions.
Supervise locker rooms bus trips and facilities; enforces no hazing policy which includes no humiliating degrading emotional/physical harm language or activities.
Provide direction and encouragement to captains regarding leadership and responsibilities; maintains individual/team discipline and control.
Establishes and instructs in the fundamentals; teaches encourages and rewards sportsmanship
Apply discipline in a firm and positive manner; emphasize safety precautions; maintain awareness of best training procedures and injury prevention.
Carry out all Regulations for Coaches as described in the handbook and/or coaches meetings.
Compensation:Stipend pay as outlined in Appendix C of theMaster Agreement
